Why We Love Her
Rosie was the very first foundation dog we had in our Rat Terrier program. We searched all over the country looking for her and we were surprised to find her out of Sundance Rat Terriers in our very own state of Arizona.
From the beginning, Rosie was a gem. She quickly picked Dakotah, who was 5 at the time, to be her favorite person. Dakotah would take her along everywhere we went. She was easy to be around and always in a good mood.
Temperament & Personality
Rosie is confident and balanced. She established herself as the matriarch of the breeding program and has always been a favorite. While she has her opinions about strangers at the door, you can take her anywhere.
Color & Health
Rosie is considered a Black Tri Irish (tuxedo). She carries chocolate and dilute, along with the piebald pattern.
Rosie is clear of all genetic abnormalities we can test for. She has good hips.
What She Brings to the Program
From a breeding standpoint, Rosie is ideal. Not only is she healthy, but she is beautifully structured. She has a beautiful toppling, we love her ear set (how her ears sit on her head), and we love how she is an easy keeper and amazing mama. She takes such good care of her puppies.
